The three founders are the master glassmakers Roberto Cammozzo, Elio Raffaeli and the expert glassmaker Renzo Vianello. They all come from an important experience of collaboration with the well-known artist Livio Seguso, a fundamental master in the completion of their training and for the development of precision, love for detail, cleanliness of work, elegance of forms and for the right interpretation.

ARS was born with these principles, but Renzo, Roberto and Elio, in addition to their great professionalism, wanted to bring something more and equally important: love for their work and the desire to communicate it. The idea that the artist, designer or architect who comes here to bring their designs to life receives is to enter a large family where the master glassmakers, supported by precious collaborators, involve you. Only those who have already experienced the frenzy, the heat, the atmosphere that is created in the furnace in the creation of an art object, can understand this fusion of creativity, which unites artists of different cultures, of different abilities, and who find here their meeting point.

Only the dedication and humility of the glassmaker who knows his material, soon liquid and incandescent, soon hard and cold, manages in the end to respect its most important characteristics, keeping the personalities of the creator and executor intact. In addition to the laboratory open to Italian and foreign artists, Ars Murano S.r.l. is known throughout the world for having re-proposed the “aquarium” in a modern key, an article already known in the tradition of Murano glass, now imitated throughout the island by many factories as well as by the oriental market, but never equaled in elegance and richness of details.
